Gibson introduced the Explorer I in 1980. It is similar to 76 reissue with mahogany body and rosewood fingerboard. It was equipped with tune-o-matic bridge or black Kahler Flyer tremolo according to the Blue Book. (however I haven’t been able to find an example with factory Kahler) It was available between 1980-1982.
